Hello, I am Dana! I got started almost 10 years ago narrating audiobooks. Before I was narrating, I was acting, so it was an easy transition. I have always loved to read! I was that kid who skipped recess so I could read and would stay up late reading past my bedtime. When I first got started, it was over two years of trial and error, making mistakes and spending money on things until I learned the ins and outs of technical and performance skills and how this industry works. I look back and wish I had had a resource like this. 

I get asked a lot how to get started doing the work I do and it's not just something I can share in a quick conversation. I have had so much success and I really want to be able to help others achieve the same. It's incredibly fun work with an immense amount of creativity, flexibility, and it can be done on your own time from home. There's a ton of room for growth in the industry and this is a great time to opt in. There are way more books that need a professional studio than effective narrators. An educated, talented narrator is in high demand!
